Membership
Today membership means different things to different people. The one thing we can say at Aspen Grove is that we believe that being a member of a church is more than just having one's name on a membership role or attending a Sunday worship service every now and then. To us, membership is expressed by taking an active part in the life of the church. To be a member is to say, "Aspen Grove Christian Church is the local congregation through which I have chosen to worship, serve, give and grow in my spiritual life."
For those who desire to become members, an opportunity is offered after the message in the worship service to come to the front. If a person has already been immersed, they will be asked to affirm their faith in Christ by acknowledging that Jesus is their Lord and Savior. If they have not been immersed, they will then be asked to acknowledge their acceptance of Christ followed by baptism.
It is always a joyous occasion in the life of our church to welcome new members into our fellowship.
